ABOUT US

ET In Classroom.JPG

The School Days Foundation was borne out of Dr. Eric Thomas' commitment to the advancement of students, educators, and their communities.

With over 25 years of real-life, in-the-trenches community activism experience, Dr. Eric Thomas is living proof of what tenacity, drive, and focus can produce when properly applied, especially in the classroom.

Since our inception in 2014, we have touched the lives of millions of students through our free motivational content on YouTube, school-based programs and events, Youth Exposure Programs, and more. The relationships that we have developed with educators, youth leaders, and parents have moved the needle in the right direction for some of the country's most troubled students and school districts.

And we're just getting started...

Dr. Eric Thomas

Founder, CEO

World-renowned speaker, educator, and inspirational leader—founded the School Days Foundation with one driving purpose: to change the trajectory of young people who too often go unseen, unheard, and unsupported in their educational journey. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of homelessness, academic struggle, and navigating school without a roadmap, ET dedicated his life to helping students avoid the barriers he once faced.

ET launched the School Days Foundation to bring together educators, mentors, and communities to create experiences that engage students, strengthen school climate, build leadership skills, and improve attendance and achievement. His vision is to ensure every student—regardless of background, zip code, or circumstances—has access to positive relationships, high expectations, and meaningful opportunities to grow.
