DREAMER'S SCHOLARSHIP

School Days Foundation is now offering the Dreamer’s Scholarship to students across the United States! We are beyond honored and excited to be able to serve incoming freshmen and current college students! We are offering two (2) $5,000 tuition scholarships and five (5) $500 book scholarships. To apply, read through the descriptions below and follow them directly to make sure your application qualifies for review. Please note, you can only be accepted for one of these scholarships. If you apply for both, only submit one resume, one transcript, 2 reference letters, and one 15 minute video or 700-900 word essay answering all three questions.

$5,000 TUITION SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is to pay $5,000 worth of tuition ($2500 per semester) for its recipient. This scholarship will be paid directly to the college. Here are the requirements:

  • 600-800 Word Essay OR a 3-5 minute video

    • Answer these Questions:​

      1. How will you use your major to create a change in the world?​

      2. If you were given 1 million dollars to invest in your community, how would you use it? Why?

    • Must include your name, age, where you’re from, high school, and where you plan on going to college or your current college

  • Two (2) Reference Letters: (pdf versions only with signature at the bottom with contact their # & email) - 1 from a mentor or teacher/administrator 1 from a friend

    • Professional Letter:​

      • Describe the student's relationship to them​

      • Why do they recommend this student for this scholarship?

    • Friend Letter:

      • Describe the candidate's strengths & weaknesses​

      • How has the candidate impacted the lives of others?

      • Why do they recommend their friend for this scholarship?

  • Professional Resumé

  • Proof of acceptance into a University (incoming freshman only)

    • Screenshot of acceptance letter, email, etc. with full name of student, school name, and future date of attendance

  • Proof of attendance (College sophomores, juniors and seniors only)

    • Screenshot must include name, name of college, and term

  • High School Transcript or College Transcript

    • Must include name, name of school, and cumulative *GPA of 2.5 and above.

    • Can be a download of the unofficial transcript or a screenshot of the official

  • Screenshot of tuition bill

    • Must include name, terms included, name of college, potential aid being received

  • *GPA Requirement - 2.5 GPA or above is required to be eligible for one of the scholarships.

HOW TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION:

Submit everything in one email to eclark@schooldayswithet.com with all of these materials attached (video should be linked in the email through Google Drive so the quality isn't changed).

$500 BOOK SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship will pay $500 worth of books over two semesters for it’s recipient. Meaning, the winners will receive $250 for two consecutive semesters. Here are the requirements:

  • 400-600 Word Essay OR a 5-10 minute video

    • Answer this Questions:​

      1. If you continued with your current habits, where would you be in 5 years?

    • Must include your name, age, where you’re from, high school, and where you plan on going to college or your current college

  • Two (2) Reference Letters: (pdf versions only with signature at the bottom with contact their # & email) - 1 from a mentor or teacher/administrator and 1 from a friend

    • Professional Letter:​

      • Describe the student's relationship to them​

      • Why do they recommend this student for this scholarship?

    • Friend Letter:

      • Describe the candidate's strengths & weaknesses​

Failure to follow the requirements will result in your application being removed. If your application is accepted, you will be required to sign an acknowledgment letter before receiving your scholarship. Failure to do so will revoke your rights to the aid.
